KR's defence was superb first half, sorta fell down in the second.

A pity Thaler felt the need to get involved with the grapple tackle call that Ganson saw nothing wrong with. It nearly changed the course of the game.

It wasn't Thaler, it was the touch judge

It was a grapple, its just than Ganson didnt see it at all as he was on the blind side. Also as the Hull poster said it was the TJ who came on and told mr G.

Anyway the game was entertaining and I love seeing the biff up front. It died off in periods but what gets me is why all the teams cant play games at that intensity and it is only left to the derbys. They are all clearly capable.

Oh, and Hull were gash with ball in hand.

His carries are too loose. He did OK though in general. It was the stupid flat/forward passes they were throwing to players a yard away from them. Also when the halves did play deep the outside backs ended up in front of them. Thats just poor coaching IMO.

Isn't Calderwood a pale shadow of the version we had at Leeds?
