Burrow has always shown up really well V the Kiwis.
Discarded by Tony Smith way too early with no outright obvious choice to replace him as evidenced by the trying out of alternatives in the current tournament.

I think that's the whole point. Smith wanted to try out alternatives in this tournament thinking ultimately of the world cup. |

Why, is the World Cup being brought forward from 2013?
Burrow had to wait for Smith to get the job because Noble was never going to take a chance on him so there's a certain irony that Smith has now discarded him at least two series too soon. |

Thinking of the World Cup??? It's in 4 years time. We have internationals every year between now and then. Instead of experimenting maybe we should be picking teams to win some games. |
