Yates playing Wednesday night for Hunslet so won't be playing Thursday. I thought that Briscoe would be back for this game? Would be massive if he was. Why leave Singleton out? It was squad rotation for him to not be on the field.

How do you know Singleton will still be out? Also, say Briscoe is available for this game and Hardaker's banned, what would our backline look like?

If briscoe is back. He seemed to make a decent fist of centre pre season and drop Watkins to fullback. Not as good in defence but should add to the attack

Not sure i would be sticking Briscoe back in out of position at centre away to one of the best sides in SL and after a long lay off.

Watkins to FB and Keinhorst in at centre seems the sensible way to go for this one.

No point shifting players who are settled in their positions.

That's what I'd go for. Might swap Handley and Hall as Wigan usually sweep left and our right side looks a little vulnerable against 19-try Joe Burgess. Would play Briscoe if fit and available.

Watkins struggles to catch any sort of high ball, so he's the last person i'd want to see at FB.

On the other hand what an attacking threat he poses from there.

Dominate territorially and pressure the kicker and you can minimise the effect of high balls (easier said than done I know)
