I think the discussions/debates around Sinfields role as DOR need taking into context and in no way imo detract from his Legendary staus as a Player & Captain.

It's obvious the glaring errors he's made sine he returned as DOR and imo he's looking way out of his depth.
Of course GH takes his share of blame as well but this current set up and situation cannot be allowed to carry on.
The Cull needed on and off the pitch can't be delayed or botched any further it's clear who needs to go and the quality required to turn this around and i dont think Sinfield is up to it.

He’s not really made glaring errors, far too early to say that. He came in to pick up the pieces with the disaster Hetherington and McDermott caused, with total lack of attention to the future. It is far too early to say Sinfield isn’t performing. That said, whilst he continues to persist backing poor players, then criticism will remain.

GH has just released a statement we usually get this on Monday . theyre all worried and GH was hoping folr a sell out for the Cas game too .

I'd say the biggest lesson is knowing how and when to get involved on the playing side. You cannot have an authority higher than the coach in terms of day-to-day stuff.

Just on JJB and ablett, given that neither have done anything on the field and our seeming utter collapse in morale, I really don't understand the point of them being in the squad.

I've no idea what is or has gone on regarding team spirit etc but as well as looking rudderless, we are clearly short of leaders on the pitch and confidence will be very low. Getting/keeping fans behind them will be really important in next few months.

IF there is not a new coach lined up and I was in Sinfield's shoes I'd be looking to get someone in place who is level headed and can get players and fans behind him and announce it is until end of season. I'd be looking at Burrow with Tony Smith in as a special consultant. Agar can be involved as well if needed but to me the fans will give burrow total Support and if he is smart and appeals for fans support he will get it unreservedly

I Don't think this playing group can handle the pressure now, they won't be able to handle getting properly booed on and off and agar can't protect them. Burrow would buy time and if they get a coach lined up before end of season they can come in anyway.

Having said all that I hope the fact that bookmakers appear to have closed the book, means we will have someone in very soon.

What makes anyone think that just because someone was a good rugby player that they can suddenly run a multi £ million business effectively? Crazy decision to put someone with no experience and too many ties to the club in such an important position. How many former player in any sport have gone straight back to a senior role at the club and being successful?

There’s a lot of people slating Sinfield for not doing his job properly when they don’t even know what job he’s supposed to be doing.

Anyone who thinks that this club is not trying to turn around the on field form every way they can is kidding themselves. We on the outside do not have any idea how bad things are behind those gates. Easy to point a finger at lots of different places and people when you are not on possession of the facts
