Martin will get a PNG passport to become classed as NFT, thus opening a quota place to sign Prior.

Great news, didnt have the grunt to match his physical gifts. Not a bad prop but not worth a valuable NFT spot. Agree that the press release is a nice piece for Peteru, the club wanted him out imo. Gives us options in finding the type of prop we need.

Peteru seems a decent bloke and it seems theres no Ill feeling from either camp so best move all round, good lick to him in the future

It's a shame that Peteru was injured when Agar started to get the team to perform a bit better. He was one of our better forwards under Furner, and I wonder if he'd had a longer run whether he would have been able to really establish himself.

Oh well, hopefully this means some more new and improved recruits. Is Singleton definitely leaving too? IMO he offers even less than Peteru, although has the advantage of having a UK passport and being homegrown.
