This for me has got disaster written all over it. Warrington need to win. Forget the talk of them not making the 8, everything is going their way at the moment results wise. They could be joint 4th by next weekend with Huddersfield away at Catalan and Cas away at Wakey who are doing better now.

Beating Huddersfield has given us that dangerous 4 point gap over 4th. It means the desperation to win for us won't be there at the same level as it will for Warrington. Looking at how we're playing currently and it does seem like Thursday could be a massacre. We simply can't defend our line currently and no doubt Warrington will play the same brand of over-poweringly enthusiastic rugby that saw them bully Wigan the other week. Referees in SL just aren't strong enough to control that sort of rugby like they should and IMO we'll be swamped.

With Greenwood still finding his feet after his injury and the whole left side being a farce defensively, the likely lengthy ban coming for LMS is another blow.

What is LMS likely to be banned for? Was he f'ing and blinding on camera again?

I thought Vea was coming back for this game? He'd be a nice addition.
Wire are a shambles this year. If KC can do something about our woeful defence we should be ok, but you never know with Wire

I think that left edge defence can't be fixed in a week. It's going to be long process sorting that side out.

Everyone knows he is a bit of a clown, with this in mind possibly get away with a warning, not much in it really, friendly gesture rather than an aggressive frustrating contact.

For the Warrington game, could go either way, Wire are still very inconsistent at half back, I predicted we would win 2 out of 3 of our last games, no reason we can win them all if Walsh and Burns improve further, is Wilkin back for this game, welcome boost if he is.

I know we have some issues with the team at the minute lacking a bit here and there, and I'm all for a bit of realism, but we're still in with a great chance of finishing top. We've won games this season that we've had no right to, we've overcome adversity again. They somehow dig deep and find a way to win. So to suggest they won't be turning up for a massive local derby against one of their bitter rivals with a trophy to play for, is wider off the mark than a Makinson goalkicking conversion attempt from the touchline.

Saddened has always had a massive inferiority complex toward Warrington. And he's not alone. Over the past few years I've observed the growth of a strange cult-like contingent of Saints fans who genuinely believe Warrington are our biggest rivals. Wire's recent dip in fortunes appears to have forced some to regain their senses but the rest are lying dormant like hibernating tortoises.

If we lose next game you can bet they'll emerge from their slumber and begin spouting the usual revolutionary insurrectionist rhetoric about Wigan not being The Enemy.
