Hood is a complete joke. The statement he has put out today could see the crowds down to 5 maybe 6000 next season. We are spending our hard earned money to watch good rugby, with good players , and then he comes out with something like this. ''We wont sign a class player beacause the fans want us to''. I hope the crowds go down to 5000 next season, until Hood realises what a total muppet he is. Iam not looking forward to next season at all, its just going to be the same again if not worse.

and FWIW Hoods article, whilst hardly cheerleading stuff, did not have the message you are trying to portray. It was ( as far as I'm concerned), we're not singing someone just because people want us to do so now in responce to Sam's departure.... However that does not to me say we might not be signing someone, Orford, Lockyer, Lyon, Moi Moi whoever the feck you think should show up tomorrow, but if and when we do make signings public it will be at a time, and in a deal, that best suits our club and finances and squad needs, not what the fans think. Which is exactly what should be happening.

Just beacuse the club are being a bit weak at the PR at the mo, and the timing of these events could be a lot better, it does not mean the right moves wont be made when they can be, given the hand we're currently dealt.

If you want the crowds down at that level, may I suggest that you stay away from the games in order to help achieve that. Quite frankly, the club doesn't need "fans" that WANT poor crowds and therefore a lack of funds. They are better off without them.

I think you need to calm down. Nobody likes the situation at the moment but hopeing crowds drop to 5000 is insanity.

I thought Hood's comment was sensible, the club lives by it's means and i'd rather him take the time to find a quality replacement then pay over the odds for someone who then turns out to be a mill around our neck.
