Why?
He's going to be out of action for the next couple of months anyway, plus we already have a 7...

We lack depths in the halves.

He will be available for a lot of the season when he comes back, and he would significantly improve on what he have currently - making us a better team.

This weeks fish and chip wrapper that mate,its from friday the 11th and the rfl and rovers and Dobson and hudge(chairman)have issued statements since saying he is going nowhere and will only ever play in this country for Rovers.

But does he have a contract in place with Hull KR?

Anyone can sign Dobson, he's a free agent. I would love it if someone did sign him aswell, personally i think it is out of order what Hull KR have done, and i cant belive the rfl have allowed it.

So who is paying him then? Presume Hull KR must have given him some sort of financial incentive to agree to have his contract terminated.. is this counted on the salary cap?

Maybe in consideration of him agreeing to have his existing playing contract terminated, they agreed to give him a better contract conditional only upon Mason coming off quota?

Theyll still be paying Dobson, as they signed Mason before he got injured, so they must be under the cap limit.

They have permission from the RFL to re-register him. He's not a free agent..

Looks like we have been making enquiries then.....

He's remained under contract while all this has being going on AFAIK.
