Gareth is a great player, but I'm far more thrilled at the prospect of Whitehead for another 5 years as opposed to Ellis for 3.

Whilst it would have been great to have a marquee signing like that, just about every other part of our team would require sterngthening before the back row.

Good signing for Hull, he'll give them a few good years of service without a doubt. He's a class player but not in a position we're lacking quality in if we keep hold of Elima, Whirehead and Bateman.

That sort of comment disgusts me. He had no chance of winning anything at Leeds...

Manu is going nowhere,he has shown his intent to remain at HULLFC. As far as I know he is in contract extension talks now.

Wonder how much, for example, he will be getting from some unconnected third party for his image rights?

Manu will stay at Hull FC I reckon, he's a good impact player off the bench.

Ellis, despite his age will add some quality to Hull FC. So long as we tie up all our youngsters who are starting to come through that's fine with me, we don't really need to strengthen our back row. It's a prop we need IMO, especially if we keep Sammut.
