I am thoroughly disgusted that this idea seems to be going through. This is what happens when idiots like Steve McNamara are put into positions of power. Hopefully it is scrapped ASAP.

I think that side would see England off quite easily. Who is going to coach them if it does happen?

What would happen to the credibility of the England team if the All Stars beat them? I dont think it should be played against England. Like the idea though.

I do. Maybe if the England side play more games against credible opposition then we won't be faced with the sort of results and performances that always happen against the big guns of Australia and New Zealand.

They thought of playing Ben Fisher but the rest of the team haven't stopped p1ssing themselves laughing yet.

I can see where your coming from. This will only increase the gap between the top three international teams and the rest and wish there was another solution.

However, attendances for the game against France aren't that great and the standard of the French team is no real test for the England side. I cans see this countering both those factors against the French.

He'd certainly fit the criteria, superb coach.
