Hi, looking to buy my son an England shirt for his 7th birthday, but obviously I want it to be the World Cup shirt. Is there a new shirt coming out or is it already out? If so where can I pick one up?

It's not available yet which is an absolute disgrace. We are coming up to the playoffs and there isn't an rl merchandise web shop with all the WC jerseys on. By the time they are available they will be out of date.

Really how difficult is it to get a shirt out before the end of the season?

Can't understand why there's no design announced, with a date from when it will be available.

Drives me crazy. Why the obsession with splashing the flag on the shirt? To remind our Australian contingent who they're playing for?

Virtually every other international RL team has an iconic V design (as did the terrific GB shirts before some dimwit decided to bury a huge part of our international heritage). Stick with the international trend. And no I don't care that Saints have a red V.

I think they missed an opportunity to launch the WC shirt at the Trafalgar Square event prior to the Cup Final. Unless they are planning to do it at say the Grand Final, for maximum exposure? I was hoping they would have at least revealed the shirt by now, with a release date and pre-sale reservation option

If you go back a couple of decades & lok at England football games, all the flags at games were union flags, now they are all St George.

I'd have preferred the red shield with 3 gold lions on as the league badge, just like what was on pre SL medals.

I've heard from some so-called RL fans that they wouldn't buy an England/GB shirt if it looked like a club they don't like shirt. Which is just pathetic. Do Arsenal fans not buy the white England shirt because it looks a little like a Spurs shirt?
Like you say it should be white with a red V, if for some reason we need an "away" shirt then just inverse the colours.
