| Tottenham Hotspur interested in hosting the event. For me this a big no no considering we've already got the Challenge Cup and no doubt an international match as well down there.

Spurs have the same issue as Liverpool, stadiums are fine but the surrounding areas are not. This is the point the the RFL aren't getting, this is an all day/weekend event and most people don't want to watch all three games. They want other attractions and Newcastle in particular offered that in spades. I enjoyed being outside St James park as I did being inside it.
Liverpool has no such appeal and the recent test match was a drab affair before and after the game. Ditto spurs imo.

| Remember the RFL strapline is "if its not broke, break it". Bonkers to take it away from Newcastle where it had a friendly council and helped boost the local RL side. We could do worse than stop fannying about and take it back there.

So you haven't been to Pier head, Albert Dock, Antony Gormleys another place? Liverpool is head and shoulders above the area area around St James's park in my humble opinion, for a start it isn't full of Geordies.

He said the area around the ground not the cultural heritage of the city of Liverpool. By that definition Newcastle has a ton of history and culture.

No, they don't, stop believing stereotypes, if you are capable of thinking for yourself.

another lazy stereotype, some peope are just too stupid to explain to what fine peopls Liverpudlians are. Try living here a while, it's a wonderful place full of brilliant people.

So the scousers are fine upstanding citizens, but the Geordies aren't.
