Not sure how many teams are pulling out. But surely a re-draw should now be done so every team has a game to get to the quarters, rather then 5 teams potentially getting there without even playing a game yet in this seasons cup. If there is an odd number of teams the last team out the hat can get a bye. Surely that's better than 5 or so teams getting a bye.

They have already said that any team that can not play will have their game aware to the other team. that way there will be a game of poker going on to se who blinks first. In the end, there will be a few 'byes' given.

If so that is the RFL game plan what a load of crap

Speaking from a personal point of view, I was there that night when we were well beaten 18-0 so don't feel aggrieved at all. In fact looking at the future fixtures think I am glad we don't have extra challenge cup games to play.

I bet you would like a redraw, who's your team playing Leeds

We could end up with Saints, Warrington, Catalan who knows it's a random draw! I still think that is better then 5 teams walking into the quarters without even playing a game.
