Can we & should we bring him home.

I reckon he's a decent player and with Myler possibly out for a while it's surely worth bringing him back from whatever club he's been at. Was it Hull KR or someone? Remember it being a not very good team who play in red and white anyway.

Unfortunately TS doesn't rate him, so I can't see him here long term.

He can kick goals. Something no one else seems to be able to do at the moment.

He should not play against us for St Helens when we've got players injured that's for sure. I think the break for the CC Final should be a good indicator as to the long term for Myler. I'd recall him to be honest.

If it stops him finishing each game on a stretcher I'd have him back. If it weakens Saints, oh well.

Who says TS doesn't rate him ? He wouldn't have been given as extension until 2015 if he didn't. He was sent to Saints on loan for more first team experience.

How does giving him first team experience with a team he will eventually play for sound then? He should be recalled.

I agree he should be recalled, but the question still stands.... how does anyone know on here if TS rates O'Brien or not ?

if Myler is going to be out for the season or until the latter parts of the playoffs, bring him back and bring him back now. However, if it means Gareth is just keeping the scrum-half jersey warm until Myler is fit, leave him at Saints.

He was sent there to get first team game time and If he can avoid, ahem misplaced shoulder charges, then the first team experience in an improving Saints time will assist him.

Is Gareth good enough to become first choice half-back and does TS rate him? I don't know, but we won't know if we keep shuttling him back and forth all the time.

Don't understand why you would need to recall him yet?

You'd just be recalling him as back up, so what is the point when the agreement is week by week?

Is it time to drop Briers and give G O'B a chance or perhaps drop Myler?
