| Is anybody seeing it as I?
Is Rangi Chase offering very little?
Would England be better had Widdup started at hb?

| I was thinking exactly the same thing. Might as well start Widdop and have Burrow on the bench.

| England have looked so much better in attack & defence when Hill & Westwood have been on the pitch . Maybe the inclusion of Burrow could have made a difference too, but fair play to the lads who played today ,good performance .

| I was thinking the same. I haven't seen him have a big game for England yet. can't fault his attacking ability in the SL which he has proved at Cas. who else could or should we have in there burrow, brough or myler? England gave it a good go today and did better than I expected but still areas to work on. Impressed with the Burgess brothers and Hill. Defensively I thought our wingers were drawn in causing gaps.

| Chase looked out of his depth.... If Koukash thought he had signed a top scrum half, then after today he might just think he's been duped.
England did ok overall, but unfortunately with Sinfield and Chase as your half backs then you aren't going to create enough pressure to worry the top sides - I can't see what Chase offers over either Ratchford or Matty Smith.

| no running at the aussies from either half back at all...very poor. We matched them in the forwards no problem, but in the halves and in the three quarters the aussies were much much stronger.
Sinfield is just not quick enough at this level and Chase is well out of his depth and offers nothing at all IMO. Start with Widdop!

| Chase was ok for me, but burrow should have been in for widdop. George Burgess was immense and Hill was not far behind. Sam won't play next week - he should have gone. Oloughlin will be back next game. I predicted a10 point loss. Not bad overall but the usual story, too much droped ball and pens. Cut them out and three a chance.

Not sure what game you was watching - Chase was impotent, almost like a boy playing in a man's game.... He simply doesn't have the game for top level Rugby League - He was the shining example of the difference between the Aussie and British domestic games. The Aussie half backs were creative and constantly buzzing around, ours were pedestrian and one dimensional.... We matched them in most other areas, but at half back there was a massive quality gap.
