I'd be very dissapointed if we wasn't in for him if he becomes available. A few years ago when he and Tomkins came on the scene i thought Eastmond looked the better player, he looked very comfortable at international level when he was up against Australia, and i remember him scoring a fantastic try against us at knowsley road when he went through Morley and Carvell then rounded Mathers to go in under the sticks.

A backline containing Russell, Eastmond, Atkins, Monaghan, Ratchford and Myler.......oh and Riley, would be simply mouthwatering.

Just spoke to a senior squad member who knew nothing about Eastmond and did sound genuine. Bath have also released a statement saying that he is staying with them.
