put him on a 1 year contract with behavioral clauses and a reduced salary... if he behaves, genius signing and we will all be happy as larry.... misbehave and we get rid.

A controlled Gareth Hock is one of the best second rowers I the world. As said, it could be a stroke of genius, but hes had more than enough chances to change. Unfortunately, I can't post my genuine views of him on here without by passing several swear filters.

The difference is Hock will be 32 next season. Cantona was about 25/26 when he signed for United, and he signed from the defending champions.

The debate about trouble maker v great player was valid a few years ago but when was Hock last a really influential player in Super League.

I can't remember him being talked about as a Man of Steel candidate for years.

He was a real top player from 2006 to 2009. Then he was getting back to that level in 2012. But his more recent record has been patchy.

Yes if he could recover his form of 2006 to 2009 under Tony Smith he would be a great signing but then if Roy Asotasi could recover his form of 2006 to 2009 under Tony Smith we would steamroller teams with our front row next season because Asotasi was one of the best props in the world back then.

Well I don't know what to make of it tbh.
12 month ago I said Hock had been speaking to Warrington and I came in for some flak and deservedly so on the back of what happened.
I couldn't prove to any of you that Hock said he was in talks with Wire. I felt it was my duty to tell and be dammed, and dammed I was.

If Hock isn't signed by us then it's highly likely I took some bs from him.
If he does sign, then although not guaranteed, it does seem likely that he did say the truth and what helps to prove what I said about Hock coming really wasn't made up.

I got all the jibes about hearing voices, which I took in good faith. I'd like to think that I've given you posts of info that proves creditable since that time.

He will end up in RU.
