Anyone else heard this one? What do we think of a potential Eastmond/Sandow partnership in 2016?

Its gets bounded round a bit this one... if it happens i think we would look to play him possibly... 6 and 7 look sorted for next season already... Unless Gidley plays 1.

Isn't Eastmond on the verge of an England call up ? I suppose any news would have to wait till this year's world cup is out of the way if he manages to get picked.

Would be a great signing if true although we do need an extra beast/offloader in the forwards.

The England RU coaching management are about to make a cut, reducing the the world cup training squad by nine players.

Very strong rumor is that Eastmond is about to be cut from the squad.... which would effectively mean his RU adventure has come to an end.

It's highly likely he will come back to RL now i would imagine.

The WG website interview with SJM, he says at least one more signing to be completed. Currently we have rumours of Eastmond and Hughes. If SJM pushes the at least one more to two more are these two the best fits? For me I feel we need a prop forward to replace RA.

Hughes is already signed. I hope this isn't the last one to complete he means!!!
If so there is still another to be brought in. Centre or prop I don't know but I'd take either or both if possible, marginally prop being the more needed. With questions over Asotasi, I'd say it's very likely a prop as I don't think we'd have much to spend on another quality back.

We do need a prop and if one is not available or not the right fit I feel Roy may get another year on reduced terms, if he would accept such a deal, Smith appears open to the possibility.
