I posted somewhere on a topic after the Huddersfield game, that Price had coached his last home game at Wire. I can’t find it....
Price’s position is now untenable as Coops has made ‘lost the room’ very public. It’s been going on for sometime.

Yes, I mentioned it on another thread. It was a very telling moment, Coopers face was like thunder and it seems very much out of character.

If the situation with Price is indeed so bad that a level headed, experienced player like Cooper is so p...ed off with what's going on that he reacted the way he did then it's best that Price leaves now and Henderson or Anderson take over for the rest of the season

If coops is honest with himself he will recognise that it wasn't his best game. He was hooked off shortly after Matautia ran straight through him and Mulhern. The Cas forwards just ran harder and tackled harder than ours did. There wasn't one set of six where we dominated in defence. We were in retreat constantly scrambling to deal with quick play the balls. Mcshane must have thought it was all his birthdays rolled into one.
And Cas were missing Millington.
About 25 mins in we booted the ball dead in goal. Cas had a 20m restart and Liam watts took the carry off the tap restart. When was the last time one of our front rowers took the first carry from a 20m tap. I reckon it might have been Ben Harrison.

I’ve just watched it on FB - Cooper doesn’t even make eye contact. It’s not aggressive but certainly deliberate.

BBC showed Briers apparently having a go at him at the end of the match too.

As I couldn't be doing with watching any more after the final hooter sounded, was Briers having a go at Cooper, or Price?

I like to see that. You want to see a bit of passion and aggression. He didn’t have his best of games but at least Coops cares and he gets it. I can’t fault his commitment and his performance levels since he resigned.

Might as well, as there appears to be nothing to lose.

Cooper didn't have a good game, but in his career at Wires and St George he'll have had poor games, brilliant games and indifferent games but for a senior player to react like [ithat[/i ..... well a picture paints a thousand words.

It was open defiance and frustration and although I'm in the "keep it in the dressing room" camp usually, it was one of the few displays of passion in a Wires shirt all afternoon and good to see.
