Right,new season upon us in the not so distance future and Leigh need to tick boxes time starts all over again.

Right problem one, how to get people in to tick the 2500 box.

Family tickets available on match days,25 quid for 2 adults and 2 kids

Can't be policed you say,why not have one gate set aside for this offer properly stewarded

What does the family ticket bring,well it increases your crowd four fold for a start thus ticking your 2500 box,without this offer how many families on a whim will go to leigh and fork out nearly 50 quid on a match day if the whim only takes them after seeing us on tv say?

I've known a few friends go and watch us for the first time last season and all said great fun but I can't afford to pay that everytime I go for all the family.

I know leigh have to try and put a team together with a budget but families also have to survive on a budget,give them a affordable family afternoon out within there budget in the best ground in rl and they will come back time and time again


It doesn't need to be offered as a season ticket deal,just a match to match basis

i dont know how many ST's the club sold last year but what ever the figure was the club needs to double it.that way if/when the club wants to do any promotions/cheap ticket deals it knows they're going to the right people.

if the club can get the 1800 regulars to buy ST's it could have all kinds of deals.

i do think the season ticket prices should be extended to decemeber. will the club be sending the current ST holders a letter through the post?

The new season ticket offer is a good one and from what people are saying there will be quite a few ST holders who don't normally buy one.

I agree there should be a family ticket available though, the better we treat families the more chance there is of getting the kids' long term support.

No more than two adults and up to 4 kids (or more if actual family members rather than bringing along an entire rugby team etc - different sort of deals for that).

I agree with Matt, I think we should really make families feel welcome.

My idea for a family ticket would be to get the kids involved, scarves (

) flags, face painting, pop and crisps etc. Maybe once a season the family get invited to meet the players and the kids get a signed ball and meet their heros and have a photo taken?

Yes I have a mate that finds it too expensive to go with him, his missus and two kids, they are the type of customers that are lost but could be enticed back with a family style ticket.

I'd rather have a family of four there enjoying Leigh RL at a decent price than not there at all.

once you get the families inside why not have a family stand (or section of one at least) just a thought

The family ticket would be great ,i'm lucky its just me ,doubt i could afford 2 adult and 2.4 children hope the club pick up on this ,maybe they are waiting to see the outcome of the early bird and monthly payments before bringing anything else out just yet though
