Would one of the mods kindly explain where the thread entitled 'Lack Of Publicity At LSV' has gone? It seems to have been deleted, and I was wondering why. I do hope it isn't because of something that could be perceived as being critical of our club and landlord?

I'd be interested in the answer to that question too

why do we need a negative thread when we're about to play an important game, let's get behind the club and the team .

It degenerated into a thread about the song sheets which contained the words to the flute song.

Some expressed their displeasure and the songsheets and the thread were subsequently withdrawn.

But why the whole thread and not just the offensive reply's???

Hope the said song sheets are not thought to be offensive as there's a lot been printed!!

I have never approved of censorship I always think folk should make up their own mind.

Off topic I think Nigel Farage is a hypocrite.

Whilst I can fully understand the need for being positive this week (there are many reasons for that as a Leigh fan) lets not forget this is an unofficial fans message board and thus in my opinion no-one should be deleting threads that started off with a valid well made point.
If further comments in that thread have been deemed offensive then remove those comments and ban those who have supposedly offended.

Just seen this and to be honest, them 'song' leaflets are really tacky IMHO.

Well since I got reconnected earlier today I am a sad soul who reads mosts of the threads on this board.

A diehard said he would never come again if the flute song leaflets were distributed. A BOM member read it and said they would be withdrawn.

Another poster suggested the thread should be deleted as it was not in the clubs interest.

It matters not as a lot of Leythers will sing the flute song on Sunday.

Andy Mazey has already responded to Alan's original enquiry ie it was an oversight.
