The St Helens Reporter and Serious About RL are reporting that Tomkins has stated that he is committed to join us for 2022, regardless of us being in the Championship. He said he had an option to stay at Catalan but he is committed to Leigh and was not going to pull out of the contract.

Exactly Atomic , I think Joel is a quality signing , and I also think Derek knows who we have already signed for next season , he has already stated we are staying full time , so I’m expecting some decent signings being announced very soon .

VC , I think Joel is a bit of a character, yeah he made a mistake in the Wigan Bar , but that’s gone now , he looks a good player , the type we need , put him in a good pack and he will shine .
