Are we expecting the new coach to be announced this week and is Richard Marshall still the most likely candidate?
If so it seems to be taking a long time to finalise as he left Salford about 5 weeks ago. Fev seemed to get McDermott sorted within a couple of weeks
Or do we think there is another candidate in the running and that is what is causing the delay?

I’m hoping it isn’t Richard Marshall, I’ve nowt against him ,but you only have to listen to the Fax and Salford fans to get an idea , hopefully something will be sorted out soon .

Lam been interviewed?

Media/social media speculating that Lam is in the running.
Some facebook Leythers see it as a negative. I see it as a sign of ambition and long term planning.
Not putting any money on it happening but I would be happy IF it happens

He probably carries some good contacts. Chester with the core built then Lam left with a nice budget.

We will not be scoring many tries.

Nobody on here is saying it will happen but he may be interested in working WITH Chris Chester if the money is right. They are friends.

I have to agree his coaching approach to playing is boring. But in his defence he was coaching a pretty poor Wigan side. Yet in his 3 years he got them close to a Grand final and that was a very average Wigan squad.
