Come on Atomic, You are another poster who's views and opinions I enjoy to read. However I always like to view an incident before I pass my own judgement and I think its fair to say no one on the thread had done so at the time.

Oh I get your point alright. But while you are intent on trying to score points, at least I wasn't sad enough to look back at who was on the disciplinary panel and when. It is what it is at the moment, as ridiculous the decisions they seem to make across the board. They do absolutely nothing to deflect accusations of club/player favouritism especially when they don't appear to stick to the written rules. It also shouldn't matter a jot what games the clubs have coming up eg. banned up to the week before big games which has happened an a number of occasions in the past.

I think there have been a few charges of dangerous contact recently where the player has been found not guilty.

It seems, as far as this charge goes, the fault lies with the bods deciding to charge and the panel are actually showing consistency.

I think if Mr Taulapapa hadn't sent his view of the offense in writing to the RFL,the outcome may have been different.But,thats speculation,although the letter was very real.
