| Well what a game that was!
The bad
We need to get up to try play the ball quicker, effort in this will result in a quicker play or a pen. Allowing the defenders to hold you down with little effort to get to your feet will result in nothing but a slower play!
Attacking flow was off again. Good in patches but couldn't bring second phase plays that well. Good Leeds defence but still a few time grix chimed into the line with very little progress made!
The good
The belief! The team conceded four tries in years gone by this would have been enough to make us panic and eventually capitulate! This year our boys are doing us proud and not giving up and it's reaping rewards!
Cruise, very good distribution of the ball, very fast and accurate. Not shy of making a tackle in the middle!
Joe.....well god what a buy he has been! Not the biggest lad but takes some stopping!
I think if we had Robbo on the meters he makes running from dummy half would have helped us, but good on ando not playing players who have niggles and trusting the youth!
Twice in the second half two Leeds players stripped the ball in the tackle and we recieved pens, first half taai is tackled by two players over the try line with a strip of the ball and it's a turn over?

| game of 2 halves really, we were on top for the first 10 minutes then came up with some errors which allowed Leeds to get a roll on, very dangerous, as we then saw them ruthlessly take us apart, with the help of some dodgy defending.
2nd half it was all fartown, we blew them away, i don't think they got anywhere near our line in the 2nd half except when they were given penalties, but they defended well at times and i think it's credit to them that they only conceded 16 points in that 2nd half, we threw everything at them.
a draw is about a fair result, because like you say, years gone by we would have been tonked, but to show the fight we did and come back and almost snatch it, like we did at headingley!, show real fight and desire, although we shouldn't be making these comebacks.
still making too many errors and panicking at times near their line but can't fault the effort of the boys at all, it was a good game and a cracking atmosphere up at the back!

| Aye the best atmosphere at home so far this season for sure.
Given we were 22-8 down at HT it is a point gained but, really, IMO, it's a game we could and should have won. I think Anderson is right as well in that we should have had a penalty in front of the sticks for Hardaker punching out. Leeds fans, for all their criticism of the ref, are turning a blind eye to that and a couple of other very dodgy calls they saw the benefit of!
Anyhoo, onwards...

| Has Ablett's knock on that was missed been mentioned on Southstander? That was a huge slice of luck for Leeds.

| Yeah there were some calls missed that could have helped us
Great comeback, our attack is still sputtering but
Leeming - looked good and well worth his spot imo
Ellis better at 9
Wood better at 7
Crabtree, Huby and Coppy - superb
Taai - superb

The ball carrying arm was grounded before the line on the last, tackle complete handover, the "strip" doesn't even come into it.

The tackle Count had restarted after Leeds had touched the ball

| Yeah, the way I saw it was tackle complete followed by a strip. So... handover!

Hadn't the tackle count been reset? Chip over, touched by Leeds

No, that's why it was a handover not a knock on or penalty.
