I think it equals our best start!

Will be ridiculous if we finish top and end up losing in the GF to Leeds who have finished 6th or something. I would be very annoyed. In 2000 I was p1553d off no end.

Just had a quick look, and in 1996, 1998 & 2000 we won 9 from our first 10

Yeah, according to everyone else's message boards though, we aren't a good side, we cant attack, we lie on to much, were ruining rugby league with our tactics, were too defensive, oh and were dirty.

, won League, Lancashire Cup, JPS Trophy, Premiership Trophy.

Lost 3 matches all season (2 in league to wire) and one totally heartbreaking loss away to Oldham in the challenge cup first round 8-10 on a bitterly cold night (postponed originally if I remember right)

I've seen plenty of praise for Wigan all over these boards. You do lie on too much, no doubt about it, and I hope this does not spread to the rest of SL. However, it's a fair shout that Wigan have definitely been the best side in the comp so far this season. As for what happens in the play-offs, those are the rules, and ( dare I say it ) Saints have lost the title after finishing first more than once.
