I Fully understand that
Unfortunately If there are Thursday/Monday games next season I won't be renewing our 3 season tickets.
There are a couple of things to think about.
Does anyone know if we can access all of the other clubs forums and try to get an online petition going, I'm sure if the clubs think this will cost them money they will stop it.
Maybe we can use the forums to our advantage.
If we are silent then we are agreeing.

you cannot stop it,its in the sky contract,they choose the day and date and match.

Maybee we can't stop it but we can try.
We can't do it as a single club, but there are lost of us across all of the clubs that can make a noise.
I enjoy going to the game with my 2 young kids, but Thursday/Monday stop this, it makes it difficult for away fans, drops the atmosphere .

email SKY and tell them they'll be showing games in front of empty seats in empty stadiums.
They won't like that one bit!

the RFL is governed by SKY , they signed the contract, they are directly responsible.
Maybe they should negotiate the next contract in a way that leaves Sky with Friday and Saturday only, like it used to be?
Dont know if its practical financially, but the alternative is half empty grounds.

TV controls sport.

This is bad for me too given it means a day off work or face a 500 mile round trip in 12 hours, but that's just how it is.

Dissapointed that we are being moved to Thursday's but SKY won't care, Infact the less people going to games the more people watching on TV which is all they are bothered about.

We can moan about SKY all we want though, fact of the matter is we couldn't survive without them. Infact I said it a few months ago and I still think now that eventually we will end up on Premier Sports.

We have 3 choices,
1) Grumble, whine and accept, keep grumbling
2) Do something and it not work
3) Do something and it works
Anybody fancy giving it a try or am I in a minority of 1

you are not in the minority of 1,i will try as well but don't hold your breath,sky i am afraid rule the roost.i have to travel 90 miles for every home game,its a pain for us as well.

3 of us not likely to renew because of the Thursday / Monday issue just not worth the season ticket given the risk of not being able to attend. Will make the effort for this year but not going to take days off work next year. Shame but RL needs to expand the fan base not put obstacles in the way.
