Any news on the new contract?
It was reported on a few weeks back that he'd yet to sign a new deal?
I don't understand how we can still be negotiating with a player for such a key position? I like Powell btw & hope he signs, but if he doesn't - we're up creek Surely the club should set a deadline on this kind of thing and once it passes, both parties move onto other options?

Fair enough.
Funnily enough, I originally had the intention of doing a post about how weird it was that the club haven't officially announced Bibby, Isa and Powell's new contract + the signing of Thornley too. I can't think of another pro sporting organisation that doesn't announce new deals when they are signed? |

Huddersfield have only just announces Fages signing and Saints haven't announced Hurrell yet, even though they were agreed months ago. |

Those are new signings though (granted I spoke about Thornley). What about new deals?
