In his post match interview Sandercock criticises the officials for gifting wakefield 12 points. I think he is forgetting that one of the Hull KR tries came from a forward pass, and it must have been forward for radio Humberside to point it out.
However he does mention that Hodgson and Horne have been taken to hospital following incidents after the try has been scored, ie players sliding in with the knees. If mathers has slid in with the knees he does deserve a suspension. It is something which happens week in week out in Super League, Tomkins Webb and Owen all our guilty of it, however the ref's never seem to pick it up. Sliding in with the knees is a penalty in any part of the pitch and it shouln't take injuries for this rule to be enforced. It does however take a competent and often brave official.

Horne has a broken cheekbone so I'm told. If mathers was late and deliberate I'm not sure we'll see him again this year

Could be Lee Smith to full back and young Cowling back to centre then.

Quite obviously he is yes. No place for this in the game, its tough enough without that. Hope the 2 KR players are OK.

Too right, if foul play has been used then bans should be given.

To be fair Richard Agar also had a little rant about Silverwood and the way he controlled the play the balls.....he also had a little moan last week aswell....

It's becoming a regular theme now with coaches straight after matches....referee's are an easy target, as you wouldn't have heard Mike Rush last week bagging the two Saints players who coughed up possession in their half in the closing minutes.....same as you wouldn't have heard Sandercock blaming Scott Taylor (was it?) for coughing up vital possessiom today to allow us the field position to kick the winning drop goal....

The harsh reality is that those plays and errors from players were the gamebreakers, but as I say much easier to blame a referee who's got a few calls through the game wrong....for both teams again may I add....

Think there needs to be a meeting taking place very soon with Mr Cummings, referee's and coaches to iron these attacks on refs out of the game.....doing the sport no good at all IMO and it's getting boring and predictable, especially when we've won a game...

To be fair to OLD_FAITHFUL I think he was referring to Sandercocks moaning about the game.

Regardless of rivalries no one wants to see players injured and hope Horne & Hodgson are ok

This is a worrying trend in the game and needs clamping down on, Mathers isn't on his own, as said above plenty of players are doing it. Not in the spirit of the game for me and for that reason I hope Mathers is punished. This takes nothing away from your victory though.
