Watched him this season I'm afraid time has come . Been one of the best pound for pound signings in our history but hes too slow the attack os sp scripted a turtle could read the defensive play. Im sorry father time has now come been a fab signing for us lile i say one pf the best pound for pound signings. Dont think Hampshire is the answer hes been shocking. Need a quick half to go along with the outstanding Jacob Miller.

We need an organiser and at the present time the best one we have is Finn. Miller has not been outstanding he shows glimpses of what he can do but is inconsistent

I dont agree though that Hampshire is shocking, as hes barely had a chance, only as an impact player off the bench. Neither did Williams to be honest.

It usually takes partnerships time to gel properly. Did either Williams or Hampshire get as much game time to gel with Miller, as what Finn did in 2016. We were about 9 games in before we won against Huddersfield, turning our fortunes around. Up to then, the pairing was not gelling.

Someone mentioned the other week about Matt Smith, not sure about him long term, as I think his best days are behind him, but would be an improvement on what were seeing at the moment. Loan deal perhaps, and see at the end of the season how the fit would be, and contract wise etc

It may be a case of looking at what is available for 2019, and if that player is from the NRL, then for the right balance for the squad, we may need to free up a quota spot

To be honest think it's the other half that I have more doubts on. Miller good on his day is far too inconsistent so Finn really ought to be the main stay with either Hampshire or Miller partnering him.

They're not trashing players they're looking out for our team

What's this obsession with fast 7's , they're pivots, organizers, they call and make play's, being fast as a 7 is a bonus but its hardly the defining qualification.
Finn hasn't been fast for years, but then...he doesn't have to be.
I think to criticize his his game management is at least relevant to his position.

Rocky had no chance of shining last night as he was playing on the wing, you have to give the lad a chance at some game time in his preferred position before dismissing him and looking elsewhere. We’ll never know if he would have made a difference in the half’s, in last nights game now.

Finn's passing is slow never mind is speed . Twice last night he just stopped as the ball was been passed along the line,and just slowed every thing down.. He did a job for us when he came but is way passed S L standard . Think the coach saw this as he came of the field and rocky moved to scrum half .pity there was just 5 mins to go. Unless the coach was giving him a rest so he can play next week and slow us down again. Think it's time to give rocky a run at 7. Played against Hulls main half backs, and Leeds and gave as good as he got . Also the passing in both those 2 games was a lot faster. Now the grounds are harder think he would do well .

Think half the problem is that one minute Finn is the saviour and we look better when he's on the field, this is normally after a defeat with him not playing followed by a win when he's playing!
But when we lose, the argument then is that Finn is too slow!
As has been said Hampshire played well against Leeds and Hull, same can be said for Max. The issue was smoothed over with a win against HKR, it's these games that Hampshire and Max should be involved in but the fear of losing meant that we go back to default no matter how the replacements played.
Can't create competition for places and build a strong mental attitude within the squad when no matter how you play you either get dropped or can do no wrong.
