Sorry but after last nights second half display from him why have we not signed him on for another contract. The more this goes on the more I am inclined to think he’s going elsewhere.

If I were a Trinity supporter, I'd want him signed up too. A good forward capable of making stuff happen.

MC mentioned last week that his next contract talks were with Fifita and Tupou.

He has an additional year option in his favour on his current contract and I seem to recall that he indicated in an interview a few weeks ago he would be activating it.

That said, it doesn’t mean the club aren’t in dialogue with him for a revised longer term contract

I must admit you have done fantastic job running the club. It’s purely out of knowing that in the past when we have a players of his calibre the vultures are always circling. Looking at what other teams are spending year on year with nothing to show for it shows how well the club is run now.

I hear the alarm bells ringing, fifita has been seen in the company of Joseph Paolo and Lachlan Coote. With Luke Douglas leaving at the end of the year and a strong rumour that Fages could be heading south there will be ample room on the s/c for saints to make a very good offer.
