Extremely sad news. One of the top 5 players that I've ever seen in over 66 years of watching Trinity. RIP Bill. Bought his signed autobiography off him personally at Belle Vue a few years ago.

One of my all time favourite players at Trinity. At the latter end of his career and with a dodgy knee as I remember when he came to us from Wigan. Still an absolute class act though. Very sad news.
