Disapointed by the size of the crowd as well, I appreciate we are in tought economic times and the game was on SKY etc but is 10,700 all we can expect for one of the biggest home games of the year?

A large chunk of our fans are absolutley pi$$ poor. Some leaving with 10-15 mins left of the match to go. And I honestly don't understand what difference it will make or what massive rush people are in when they leave with 5mins to go. Stay, clap your team and be a fan.

There's fans like that at every club. A fella a few seats down from us goes rushing past 4 or 5 minutes from the end of every game like he's gonna miss check in at the airport. Was surprised by how low the crowd was last night, but mostly surprised at the lack of away support. I think it's a real worry for our sport when a game like this can't pull the punters in so early in the season.

People pay their money and they do as they please, the product is over priced.

Those people are paying their money and have the right to leave whenever they want. I left with 25 minutes to go of the Bradford game and with about 4 minutes to go of last nights game.
The Bradford one was because of work and last night was because the game was lost.

Hull fans will know best as to why attendances are down, I wouldn't want to speculate on a particular clubs poor attendances. I would say the lack of Wire fans could possibly be down to the pricing of away fans tickets (without wanting to open that can of worms again). The recession certainly won't be helping but I'm sure there's other issues at Hull.

Very disappointing attendance, even considering it was Saturday TV game. Looking at some other attendances so far, other clubs are experiencing similar problems this season. Leeds only got 12500 against Salford and they've won the Grand Final five times in six years.

As for people leaving early, it's pathetic, but they pay their money and make their choice. Don't see the point in going with ten minutes left.

A good run and attendances will invariably improve and a bad run will see them drop. You can also take into consideration the Weather, the game being on sky and the difficulties a lot of families in Hull are in financially at the moment.
