| Another place where we have disappointed in recent times, but after the Keighley game we are probably favourites.
It's a funny old game and we won't have Hull players presumably, so who knows?

According to the Barrow forum on Total RL, Hunslet could not cope with Barrows pace yesterday (Sunday 13th)They put that down to a firmer drier pitch. As you say we will not have any Hull players so a chance for probably the squad that played against West Hull. Not sure if anyone on here is ready to recognize us as favorites for any game just yet, but if true its a nice feeling to have for a change

| Confidence bound to be high after beating Keighley , but we haven't done well there in a while.
Not sure if we will see any of our long term injuries back eg Castle , Kelly , Hirst , Picketts- O'Donnell & Howden .
But Cook ,Foggin-Johnson, Jones-Bishop ,Vincent, Doherty ,Harper ,Gilbey & Walton will all be keen on a run out.

| Personally, I'd be looking to make minimal changes on a week-in, week-out basis, resting people with minor knocks where necessary.
If the Hull Under 23 project is working, we can give our fringe players game time with them until their chance with us comes along.
When we play some of the lesser teams a little later on, we can perhaps afford to juggle the team more to give them opportunities but I would like to think we'll put out our best side against Hunslet on Friday. Winning and keeping winning builds confidence and that's what we need to aim to do.
We've got a relatively tough start and we need to keep our foot firmly on the gas. Not suggesting we should take London Skolars lightly but that might be the first realistic opportunity to rest a few who have played a number of games and bring in some of the others.

| Agreed, I think that if we can play our strongest side at Hunslet and win, we then pretty much know that given a structured approach to our game then we can beat anybody in this league.
But we have to send out the message and not flop at Hunslet.
I know it is easier said than done, but if we cut out penalties that help piggy-back opposition towards our try line and play percentage rugby with good field position kicks, we will be very hard to beat.
Quite why the captain is not approaching his players after every penalty and telling them to stop it and what to do to improve I don't know because it keeps happening.
You need a spotter in games, one of the coaches to get the message to players individually where they are going wrong.
Stuff like 'you let the ball bounce, catch it' or 'you didn't jump to meet the lobbed punt into the corner' ... you know basic feedback.
The times that I have watched rugby games on telly and someone repeat infringes and nothing is said to them makes me despair.
They should be told by the captain and if he infringes he should be told by the coach to cut it out!
Different sport, but in RU Dan Cole is a prime example, he gives at least three silly penalties away every game when playing for England.
He even got 10 mins sin bin against Wales that could have cost us the game.
He needs to be TOLD' stop it or ship out!'
Discipline helps win games!
Don't get dragged into crap and niggles.

| Spot on SO regarding penalties. They bring pressure onto you that is completely unnecessary, clean it up and give the opposition the square root of jack all to feed off. Just reading the above posts and fielding the strongest 17 at Hunslet, what is the likely make up of that given no DR because it's a cup game.

| Feka & Yeaman recalled to Hull squad for Friday night.
So confirming not available this weekend and with Hull having 2 games over Easter probably willnt see those to either until April if at all .
Dons should name their 19 man squad later .
