Particularly enjoyed Nottingham Brewery Rock Mild 3.8% and Nick Staffords Hambleton Ales Bucking Bruiser 4.0%.

Was in the Hop yesterday afternoon followed by a visit to the Wellington. Significant preference for the latter although I can understand why the Hop will also be popular amongst real ale drinkers.

Glad you finally got across here, hope you had a great afternoon. If it's not been nosey, what led you across bud? Yeah that's fair comment, the surroundings in Wellington are better really (e.g. love all the overseas beer bottles on the walls!

), what did you sample? Pleased for you that both were open actually because I wasn't sure what the opening times are.
Superb anyway, there's more to explore in the city centre though don't forget (I mean if you're here for a longer time) like Oscars and Walters in the old town, + Minera on the marina.
