HopefulIy with a win on Sunday we will finish 2nd. We dont have to then fear a trip up to Barrow as we've won up there already as have a few teams so it's hardly a fortress.

You are absolutely correct. I have no issue with Barrow being at the top of the table, we lost that spot ourselves.

We need to now show how we can redeem this, by winning on Saturday and then going up to Cumbria and doing the business.

this defeat tonight will be just like a win to Barrow. they will be walking off that pitch thinking did we lose the game oh didnt realise.

they need to get rid of the bonus point so annoyed at the negative tactics that they played.

A win on Saturday would be wonderful and what the club must set out to achieve.

However, the good news appears to be thay even a draw (2pts) would suffice given our superior points difference over Sheffield and Whitehaven. At the moment Fax are on 40 pts, Sheffield 42 pts. and Whitehaven 39 pts., with one game remaining for both Fax and Haven. Conceivably all three could finish up with 42 pts.

Despite the dip in form over the past few weeks, I would hope that Fax can overcome Toulouse and finish clear second.

I'm already planning my Thursday night trip to the Furness Peninsula.
