Like Black said it was a 50/50. Stick it in the corner and pressure them afterall like the comentators said not much difference between 4 and 6 points, really only one score with Rooney kicking. If we are tired take the two but as the call came from MC straight away im guessing it was simply more tactical. I can see both points of view and some people on here would do well not to be so `one eyed`

Cant knock the effort, but we blew it, and i dont think the side this year is any better than last years, if anything its worse.. sorry if it upsets people but i just dont see any progression other than not having a SL side relagated to push us down the table. The jury is still out on MC and MH, Barrow were stronger and smarter than us.

they got promotion to ower league by becoming champions, no need for grand final day for them

The team has been weak this year especially at 6-which we all know. But I feel just as much at prop we have had a big problem.
[uWATENE[/u has been a shadow of himself. Poor tackling and not fit enough
[uCHERRYHOLME[/u is well frankly poor and offloads badly and gives penalties away. Simply not worth keeping.
[uJAMES[/u was a great player but we have missed his presence since he got injured and missed his tackling and go forward.
[uWILSON[/u had a couple of decent games but generally poor and missed tackles. Doubt he will be staying
[uSAID[/u very good player on his day but also gives too many penalties away and that is where he needs to work on. He looked tired 2nd half the season
[uMALONEY[/u for me has been quality. Some of his tackles yesterday were top notch and has good go forward. Certainly glad we have signed him for the future.
I think we also need players to play in there right positions and for us to have a bigger squad as most of the times we have struggled due to the smallness of the squad and too many players carrying knocks. I am a little concered with gene and Aizue as we need to spell them with both being over 30. It takes longer to recover from games and silly knocks. The heart may be willing but the body not. We need a couple of young guns as well who can learn of them.

We have just played in the 1st MAJOR final for 20yrs & already the knives are out for players & the coaching set up!!!

I for one enjoyed this season immensely, yes some of the players could have done better & im sure they would be the 1st to admit it, but come on, lets at least enjoy the season we have just finished & look forward to building on the success,after all, it has been a successful season as we can now apply to SL, which was the main aim im sure at the start!
