We're not going to go the rest of the season unbeaten. I reckon we'll throw away another two or three games. Just no killer instinct. You can't expect to finish second when you can't hold a 22-8 lead.

After saying Turley was one of the better refs I have to say he was poor today. He was almost as poor as our second half tactics. We did everything right for sixty minutes then went to pot. Also yet again a last minute score has done us.Very dissapointing! Richard Oastlar, Brighouse. Elland Beyond the Pale 4.2% Mmm!

The number of games we could have won in last 5 mins is staggering. That's the difference between success and failure. Just a teeeensy weeeensy bit more luck/effort and we'd be......

Game management in the last 30 mins was appalling, and by our senior players as well. A few better decisions and we would have won that game at a canter.

Like littlerich says, there isnt much in it when it comes to where we are and where we could be but the fact is we simply cant afford to slip up against the lesser teams in the league especially with Donny and Fev still to play. On that note I think with their run in Donny must now be favorites to grab 2nd place.

Maybe I should go on game strike again, thought we were great until Luke went off and then we lacked his leadership. Also thought we missed true centres playing today especially with Robbo switching back into the pack in the last quarter of the game. Donny still play us, Sheffield and Workington plus the likes of Keighley and Batley who are all battling for points. We threw that game away today but Turdley was a levelled with that penalty count. Don't understand why we got penalised for holding down etc yet Batley weren't.....? Ummmm

Another classic snatching of near defeat from the jaws of victory! Thank goodness he missed that touchline conversion ! I agree with earlier post that our game management and execution was not up to scratch and that we can't kill a game off unfortunately. By my reckoning we now have to beat Fev and not let them get a bonus point as well as beating Donny at Donny. I think we have probably just left ourselves a little too much to do now. Congrats to Donny on beating a Leigh side who I did think might go undefeated all season. Good to see plenty Blue & White there today.

agree re: centres. the number of times robbo got on the outside but lacked the pace to go through the gap. could've been four scores up

I can see why the centres were left the same but again Murrell at stand off does not really work that well and also is a waste keeping Johnson on the bench for most of the game.

Another thing as well is that we look so much better with Holden on the pitch as its like slow-mo with Kaye at acting half and it was no surprise that we picked up in the first half with Holden on the pitch and dropped off in the second half when he was replaced.

Your game against Fev should be a Cracker , I would love to see it , and I agree it is a MUST win for Fax , lose the game and its Goodnight Irene to second spot , though Donny are quietly moving into position to strike , all in all a great end to the Season .
