Having watched him this season, I'm really surprised he's ever played NRL, nevermind for some of the biggest clubs in Australia. He's not quick or physical, he's not particularly skillful. He's the definition of bang average.

Interesting Sivo is described as a Centre.

There were glimpses of talent, but he'd hide on the wing and let Handley do all of the work.

Mom not working out was not Smith's fault. Macdonald would still be with us if he hadn't messed the club around and got the flick. Pickings were very slim and we had to look around at short notice, and while Mom had pedigree, his injury record meant he was available.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was never fully fit at Leeds - you don't win Premierships in the NRL in the centres if you aren't physically top notch. While I get the settling issue, he never quite seemed to be fully committed either, missing a lot of pre season. I know he got married but it felt like he was treating the move to Leeds as a bit of a paid holiday.
