I have received a letter from Saints today to say they have sold too many tickets for the west stand for the Salfrod game. Aprarently the Council have asked ofr a reduction in capacity in that stand!!

They have sent me an East Stand ticket or I can have a refund.

I bought two tickets for the west stand two days apart and the second one i've bought has now been cancelled and replaced with an East Stand one (or refund)

Anyone else had an issue?

No, but I've read reports of similar for other people. It's because some idiots moved from their seated stands into the West Stand, overcrowding it, and so Saints won't be able to have a capacity crowd in for the Salford match. An arrangement has been made with Salford for their fans to go in one end of the North Stand and Saints fans who aren't season ticket holders can go in the East Stand.

Hopefully the idiots who moved from their seats are now happy that they have messed things up and our capacity is reduced.

I have a family member with a season ticket for the West, I then bought one and then a few days later another for my Mrs. It's my Mrs' ticket that has been "cancelled". Apparently the one I bought first is ok.

Some people! Why would you pay for a seat and then go and stand up? I would think most people who sit do so because they're in the company of family members or friends. It's irresponsible to decide to stand because that most probably means everyone else you're with will move with you. So, people like mistermoo have been inconvenienced!

It's an option but we all wanted to be together and with my brother-in-law having a season ticket for the West that can't happen.

My Mrs has said to get a refund so at least I can go, just so frustrating!!

I'm really peed off by those idiots who have spoiled it all. Some people are bloody selfish.

Why don't you see if you can swap two rather than just the one? I know it's disappointing that you won't be in the West as a group but you can meet up pre and post match, it'll only be an hour and a half apart

It so whats the new capacity for Saints. I imagine a safety certificate for the full capacity will only be issued now if the ability to stop people moving between stands is removed.

Shame but was always going to happen if you can't control the crowd. Leaving it to the honesty of the individual is never going to work, it only takes 1.
