domestic signings I'd expect us to stick with tradition and wait till our seasons over unless the club the players leaving announce their departure as happened with sykes a couple of years back.

And Scruton last season?

leeds announced he was leaving and coming to us. we just confirmed it.

Well that is what generally happens when a player leaves a club.

I'm not sure I buy what Crowe's throwing off. It just seems like everything else we've read with a few extra bits to try and throw the rest of Sams scent.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not sure I buy into what Crowe is saying about Sam and Souths, and it seems very much like all the other reports we've read about the situation.

I think the 'Green/Red Eye bit, is just a ploy into throwing the other clubs off Sam's scent, and a bluff that leads them into believing Souths have nearly got Sam in their grasp.

Ah right, I see. Fair point too. And is it not impossible that its also a ploy to put more pressure on the Bulls board to agree terms? Hmm...

The trouble is, in the absence of anything whatsoever from the club (I HOPE that in due course we will learn there is a good reason for this, otherwise the discontent index will notch up a few more points) the rumour machine will stay in overdrive. I'm still pretty miffed that the only comment on this matter attributed to the club has been reporting of his supposed comments in the Oz media (I HOPE we will one day learn why this had to be so), and that our former chairman seems to have been having a field day stirring the pot.
