Craven's a decent player, but he's not a centre. He's small and nippy, probably a similar build to, say, Ryan Brierley, and he's always likely to be most effective at half back, full back or maybe hooker. Fev have been short of recognised centres for much of the season and have played a variety of backrowers (Tagg, Cording, Snitch) there, but have never used Craven at centre, it just wouldn't fit in with his skill set.
