Hopefully the "more to follow" are English...sick of Aussies getting the starting berth at SL teams now. Can't fault St's for this signing - bit like Leeds with Cross, they need an experienced Aussie I guess.

What would worry me if i were a sintelliner, is his interview with the Gold Coast clubs website. Basically saying hes got a job there after 2 years in England, his "short term deal" etc. Sounds like he's already got his eye on moving back before hes even got here. A gun for hire, even moreso than the usual ock's. Lets hope he can see out his deal at least

He's replacing Flannery, not Graham. In that context, very good signing.

He's a poor signing because he'll be 31 when he arrives? Age has nothing to do with it, as long as he's fit (which he is) and comes over to play then I don't see how age can be a problem.

It's not like he's a 31yr old centre, stand off who'd lost his pace thru old age age, he's a hard working backrow.

age has everything to do with it when you bringing someone over for a final payday

From watching him play and from what people say about him, he's not the sort of player to come for a final pay day.

Sure he's come for money just as most players do as it's their job but if he comes and plays how he can while taking his " final payday" who cares.

He's happy, the clubs happy and the fans will be happy!
