I hope England don't choose their strongest squad. Whats the point in watching Tomkins, Hal,l Roby smash Wales & France by 50+ points. Let them have on off season (how often do they get one), recover from this season, get a full pre-season and come back fully fit for WC year.

Final at Salford,why?
They dont own It so thats money going out the game straight away.Very poor fan base so totally reliant on other fans to fill It.

Having a final in this tournament is pretty pointless

I was hoping for an international tour of NZ instead (the first since 1996) but the RFL didn't fancy it.

More like the Kiwis didn't. Neither the Aussies nor the Kiwis wanted internationals but they are playing each other of course.

I will be going, probably to Wales and to Salford. I support the game and although this isn't the series we wanted there is nothing that can be done about it and I want the sport to look well supported on the BBC. To have the BBC backing this is very important to our sport. Fans should get out there and be seen to be supporting the game so that the BBC will continue their coverage and more people will have the chance of watching rugby league.

Wholly incorrect. The Kiwis offered us the opportunity to tour there but the RFL turned it down because they wanted Aus and NZ to tour the UK again for another 4N tournament and then cried and sulked because they didn't get what they wanted.

Not surprised sky not interested. Its a one sided waste of time.

Lets hope the final doesn't clash with a Sale home fixture, otherwise someone will have to have access to the Leigh sports village.

NZRL need the money, they would have jumped at the chance of a three test series. No idea why we didn;t arrange a tour for Eng featuring Eng v NZ and PNG. Would have bult the team spirit prior to the WC and given them a decent work out as a squad.
