beg to differ they are as safe as houses. widnes will be shafted again, we were shafted at the start of sl, we were shafted to let the french in (but we did know that before the season started so that was our fault) and we were shafted to let salford and the welsh in even though we were the better club as has been proven by what happend 3 years later. so with our track record widnes are defo on top of the hit list as far as the rfl are consernd just depends who else is on it , all i know is the disaster from down south are a shoe in for the 12 whatever happens

I don't think he has an axe to grind with Salford as such. But the feeling was that at that time, certainly amongst Widnes fans is that we should have been given the nod.
