| First of all would like to say what a disgrace it is that brough feels second best because of mcnamara, he could have been a big part of our plans, by far one of the best talents in this country. I also am wondering why burrow has been picked isnt doing anything at the moment and i feel that other hookers are performing at a better standard like lunt. I even think mcshane is outplaying him IMO. I dont think cudjoe makes enough yards too in my opinion and think he would only get pushed back by the aussies.
But thats just my opinion, what would your 24 man squad for the rugby league world cup be?
Mine would be
4 Reed
5 R.Hall
6 Widdop
7 Sinfield
8 Graham
9 Roby
10 Mossop
11 S.Burgess
12 Westwood
13 O loughlin
subs
14 Crabtree
15 Lunt
16 Ferres
17 G.Burgess
18 Mcgillvary
19 Lineham
20 Chase
21 Hardaker
22 Ellis
23 Hock
24 Jones bUchanon
reserves
25 Ablett
26 Lomax
27 atkins
28 carvell
29 farrell
30 mcclorum

| Cudjoe has made more metres per carry this season than Atkins,Goulding or Shenton and is only just behind Watkins and his figures will have been improved by his spell at full back . So not sure why you think he has no go forward in attack.

| Still dont understand why people still pick Sinfield in the halves. If he didnt have a kicking game he would be average at best.
Its got to be Widdop and Chase.
Chase is a pain at times with his bad habits and one man show stuff. But the things he does are still brilliance. Along with Widdop these 2 could crucify Australia and New Zealand. Sinfield will merely go along with some good tackling and kicking but nothing in attack.

The post was aimed at people who pick sinfield over Chase and Widdop. I do know they are in the squad. And yes at times, Australia wont be able to handle the pair. Having the Burgess bros and hammer the ball in will give Chase and Widdop time to break them down.

I agree. Brough should be ashamed of his own unprofessional attitude.
As for the squad, I'd go with:
1. Tomkins
2. Charnley
3. Watkins
4. Cudjoe
5. Hall
6. Sinfield
7. Widdop
8. Burgess G
9. Roby
10. Mossop
11. Farrell
12. Ellis
13. Burgess S
14. Lunt/Burrow
15. Westwood
16. Crabtree
17. Graham
18. Burrow/Lunt
19. O'Loughlin
20. Morley
21. Ferres
22. Lineham
23. Hardaker
24. Myler
