Leigh seems I think I they have a god given right to SL. Why has everyone forgotten the last few years and the various charity buckets?

If only Thunder had not been liquidated in 2009 coach Rowley would have led Leigh Centurions into the lowest tier of professional rugby league.

The Leigh club have bad-mouthed London,Crusaders and Thunder.

Must be hard living in the shadow of Wigan.They seem to have a complex.

I think you have bad mouthed every club going,and then fall back to Bradford to pick the pieces up for you..You're currently failing on that score also,what else do you have to deliver Angelic.

Good luck to them, the sport would be massively better off for a competitive Newcastle team in SL.

Where they benefit from teams like London is that they isn't this ingrained anti RL bias amongst the locals that makes growing a team difficult. Hopefully some Geordie with money to burn gets the bug and helps make it happen.

And let's be honest - it's a cracking away game for us travelling fans!

Newcastle is a nice town. It is where Eric Burdon and The Animals are from. There must be something gritty and soulful about the place. But from my time there I noticed that Newcastle had some nice pubs and bars, and girls with nice knockers, so it would not be a unenjoyable away trip.
