This could be a very exciting game. If you looked only at position on the table then Castleford would have to be strong favourites. But Catalans have improved in recent weeks. Part of that is due to the arrival of aggressive back rower Kenneth Edwards from Parramatta. Part of that is due to the fine form of captain Remi Casty and full back Antoine Gigot. So I consider the outcome a close call either way.

I hope I’m wrong, but I think we’ll come up just short in this one. Yes, we have a couple of players back, but the efforts of the last few weeks with an under strength team might just creep up on us in the heat today, and Cats are starting to put some consistency together in their performances lately and have strengthened slightly. Whatever happens though, it should be a good game.

Catalan are very slight favourites with bet 365 which I think is accurate. Cas still with a heap of injuries. Catalans just starting to play well. 10/3 for a drop goal is my punt.

That rule is awful....
Ref believed it was a knock on but played play on. If Mead gets caught before the line then Catalan have a full set with ball. The fact Hicks sends it up as no try he should of called knock on.
