That Saints pack is beasting Wigan atm and the speed of the PTB has been fast from them. Playing really well and good for the 12 point lead.

Wigan without Samuel Tomkins and John Bateman is demoralised and ineffective. St Helens will win and Catalans with Tomkins and Gigot will be in the top 4.

Lost the discipline in that 5 minute period Saints, giving 2 or 3 pens away and Wigan is gonna score if you give them that many chances in your 20.

Funny half of RL that, saints came out playing some great stuff and then a few penalties and errors gave Wigan a way back in and they've gained momentum since. Good game so far.

Saints have been their own worst enemy in the second half of the 1st half. Absolutely thrown away their good start and lead so cheaply.

TBF that first half sums up Saints' campaign last year.

6 errors from Saints, 3 from Wigan. Wigan far better completion rate as well.

Half time came at the right time for saints. Some of their forwards don’t look to have the engine in that second quarter. Dropping off some marker tackles which Wigan took advantage of.

Don’t like the Wigan play acting though. A few times some faint touches been made to loom like they’ve been shot.
