I think we should applaud the Doc, Brian Noble and the Team for making an effort to priomote the club in these exciting times. Too often we come on here and have a go at the club for lack of marketing.
What we need to do now as fans is to drag as many of our friends to these events as we can. That way we are doing our bit after the Doc has done his.

Hopefully the start of a more professional approach!

Booked tickets for Pendleton gateway...

Well done to the Club. Always great to engage the public whenever possible.

Called at the stadium this morning to get a ticket for the Irlam night. Went to reception and I might as well have been talking Chinese as the lady on the desk hadn't got a clue what I was on about. Luckily Paul Highton was passing and he just phoned somebody in the office upstairs who came right down, took my details and will send me a ticket tomorrow when they come in. She was obviously incapable of doing that. I think it would be helpful if the admin office was accessable without having to go to a receptionist who was both clueless on Red Devils business and unhelpful.

I just phoned up and booked for Irlam , no hassle. Good idea by the club, well impressed.

When I was booking a ticket for the Irlam night he asked had I got my season ticket yet. I replied that due to my shift pattern I was only able to get to about 8 home games a season. He said they were looking at putting a package together aimed at people like me and there would be news about it on the website in the next 2 weeks. Well impressed.

Well done Salford for attracting over 1000 less people to a USA World Cup game than the RL hotbed of Bristol did, despite having more popular opponents at your place, and also a big well done for building a ground in such a public transport outpost that it takes two hours to get there from Heald Green. You're great.

In fairness the game last night was nothing to do with Salford, nor is the ground so I think you need to vent your disappointment elsewhere.

As a matter of interest (I can understand why the Salford speccies aren't BTW) which route did you take, would it have been dramatically different heading to the Willows from the well connected metropolis that is Heald Green, how would you get to say The Trafford Centre, did you seek any advice although you are a regular at OT on an away day so Barton couldnt have been a bridge too far surely?

Apart from the fact that drop kick Murphy is missing the point of this particular thread, the RFL are also organisers of the tournament and specified the restrictions on parking, date and time of the game etc., nothing at all to do with Salford Red Devils. As for building the ground, once again not Salfords ground so wide of the mark again. I suggest drop kick needs to set his sights a little bit more accurately before mouthing off.
